These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Camdex ("the app"), owned and operated by P&T Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using Camdex, you agree to these Terms.
Camdex is a camera collection management tool that lets you catalog items, scan equipment with AI, and check market prices. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not use the app to violate any laws or infringe on the rights of others.
You can use Camdex anonymously or create an account with an email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. If you create an account, you can delete it at any time from the Profile screen within the app.
Camdex offers a free tier with limited daily actions and an optional paid subscription ("Camdex Pro") for unlimited access. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to the respective store's terms and conditions.
Market prices shown in Camdex are based on active eBay listings and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Market values should not be used as the sole basis for insurance claims, purchase decisions, or appraisals.
AI-powered scans provide best-effort identification of camera equipment. Results may be inaccurate. Always verify AI-generated information before relying on it.
You retain ownership of all content you add to Camdex, including photos, notes, and inventory data. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the app's functionality. We do not use your content for any other purpose. You are responsible for the content you add and must have the rights to it.
Camdex lets you generate a public link to a read-only web page showing items from your collection. This sharing tool is provided solely for cataloging and showcasing your own personal camera-gear collection (cameras, lenses, and related photographic equipment).
When you create a public link, you are responsible for the content it displays and confirm that you own or have the rights to share it. You must not use the sharing tool to publish, host, or distribute content that:
Public pages are viewable by anyone who has the link, so do not include anything you wish to keep private. You can revoke a link at any time from within the app, which immediately removes the page.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove or disable any shared link or page, and to suspend or terminate any account, that we believe violates these Terms or hosts unrelated, infringing, or objectionable material. Each public page includes a "Report" link; you may also report abuse to support@camdex.io. We review reports and act on them promptly.
We respect intellectual-property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content shared through Camdex infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office:

Your notice must include: (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) the URL of the infringing page; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We will respond in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, remove infringing content, and terminate repeat infringers.
Camdex includes links to eBay through the eBay Partner Network. As an eBay Partner, we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through these links. This does not affect the prices you see or pay.
Camdex is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, P&T Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to equipment.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
